Artist Statement
My practice explores the quiet tension between fragility and structure through porcelain and mixed media. Working with repetitive organic forms, I build layered compositions that reference nature growth, movement, and the accumulation of time. The circular gestures and linear elements suggest both order and disruption — a balance between control and organic emergence. Porcelain, with its delicacy and strength, allows me to explore themes of resilience, memory, and transformation. Each piece evolves through an intuitive process of layering and placement, inviting viewers to experience subtle shifts in light, shadow, and spatial rhythm. Through restrained colour and sculptural texture, I aim to create contemplative works that hold stillness while revealing complexity on closer inspection.
